2 Handmade Linen Dresser Scarves Red Embroidery Cat Dog

These are a pair, but they are not identical. Handmade by the same person with red embroidery on white linen metis (an old blend of linen and cotton).

One is square shaped with a scalloped edge with red stitching. In 2 opposite corners are and embroidered cat, and in the other 2 an embroidered dog. 14" 36cm square.

The other is oblong shape with a fancy cross stitch hem,  scalloped corners with red stitching. 19" 48cm x 15" 38cm

Found in the estate sale of a Nun along with many other examples of her work,at the closure of a nearby convent.

Colour: white
Condition: Both have a tiny rust stain
From a smoke free household - Freshly laundered
