Owner’s Manual/Operating Instructions
With proper care, you will enjoy years of display "mileage" with your new Chevrolet. Read this manual carefully to get the most from your virtual driving experience!
Putting her "on the lift":
Drivetrain -- Carefully turn model upside down, holding hood and trunk closed as you do so, or place model on a mirrored surface. Rotating the rear drive wheels causes the drive shaft to spin.
Power Steering Unit -- Carefully turn model upside down, holding hood and trunk closed as you do so, or place model on mirrored surface. Power steering unit is visible...try gently swiveling the front wheels.
Peeking into things:
Hood -- Gently open the hood from the front; a fingernail, toothpick, or piece of index card stock may be helpful in getting started. The air cleaner is not removable.
Trunk -- Gently open the trunk from the rear; a fingernail, toothpick, or piece of index card stock may be helpful in getting started. The lower trunk mat is removable to view undersurface detail. Spare and jack are not removable.
Gas cap -- Gently pivot the license plate outward/downward; a fingernail, toothpick, or piece of index card stock may be helpful in getting started. Gas cap is not removable.
Raising/lowering antenna:
Don't -- it's stationary... and sharp, so be careful, please!
Getting inside:
Doors -- Open/close gently with your fingers.
Sun visors -- Gently pivot the visor(s) downward/upward; a fingernail, toothpick, or piece of index card stock may be helpful in getting started.
Seat backs -- Gently pivot forward for access to rear seat.
Gently pivot front wheels parallel.
Glove box -- Gently pivot the glove box door downward; a toothpick, or piece of index card stock may be helpful.
Ashtray -- Gently pivot the ashtray door downward; a toothpick, or piece of index card stock may be helpful.

Keeping your Chevrolet looking showroom fresh:
Finish -- Your model has been polished at the factory. It is recommended that you use lightweight cotton gloves when handling finished parts to avoid smudging/fingerprints/acid damage. A light dusting with a soft cloth or duster is all your precision model should ever need; never use paper towels or tissues for cleaning. REMEMBER that it is easier to keep your model clean than to clean it. Display in dust-free setting out of direct sunlight. Do not store your model for extended periods in the original Styrofoam packaging.
Enjoy, and remember that a single model on a shelf is a lonely thing!
