You are bidding on a New  "Rare"  U.S. Mint Uncirculated American Buffalo Gold Bullion Coin

 

CONDITION:  EXCELLENT !!!   NEW IN BOX

 

This is  a 2008 W  1/10th oz  American Buffalo Gold Bullion Coin. The coin is .9999 fine 24-karat gold with a  $5 denomination and struck at the United States Mint at West Point. 

Since the United States Mint has ceased production of the 1/10 oz Buffalo, The coin has become  "Rare".

The coin is incased in Original Box from the U.S. Mint that includes a gorgeous leather covered wooden box inside.

Detailed Description:

Condition:  Uncirculated

Date: 2008

Mint:  West Point

Mint Mark "W"

Diameter:  0.650 inch (16.50mm)

Thickness: 0.047 inch (1.19mm)

Composition:  .9999 Fine Gold   0.1000 troy oz.  (3.110g)

Design:  Based on the original Buffalo nickel, as designed by James Earle Fraser and minted from 1913 through 1938.

Obverse:  Portrays a profile representation of a Native American Indian.

Reverse:  A representation of an American Buffalo (also known as a bison).

 

The Certificated of Authencity is included.
